Restore and forward model geological deformation through time in 3D to understand structural evolution and the timing of key geological events.
Using advanced kinematic algorithms including jigsaw restoration, flexural slip, simple shear, fault-parallel flow and trishear (including move-on-fault variants) to model complex deformation and propagating fault tips, the software accounts for compaction, isostatic and thermal subsidence, with parameters adjustable along-strike.
Why it matters
Calculates strain on surfaces and volumes for downstream analysis, including fracture modelling. Enables horizon area and volume measurement for rapid model validation and reservoir estimation, helping improve confidence in basin reconstruction and resource assessment.
